Iran bans the using the word ‘homosexuality’, tells Media to use ‘sexual deviance’

On Tuesday, Iraq’s official media manager ordered all the social media and media managing companies in the Arab State not to use the word ‘homosexuality’ and rather use ‘sexual deviance’.The Iraqi Communication and Media Commission document stated that the usage of the word ‘Gender’ was also banned. It banned all internet companies and phones licensed by it from utilizing the word in any of their electronic gadgets.


Global Covid cases increase up to 80% as new Omicron sub variant EG.5 rises 

 

In the last month, 80% of the Covid-19 cases arose, WHO said on Friday. WHO stated that the virus can continue to spread and can cause hospitalizations, infections, and death. Moreover, the amount of death fell by 57 % to 2,500. WHO warned about this pandemic situation beforehand.  


Countries including the UK, US, France, and Japan have seen an uprising of covid cases. Experts believe that summer gathering and travel are the main causes.

 


Kuwait Bans Barbie to Protect 'Public and Social Ethics'

Barbie was banned in Kuwait as the movie goes against their ethics and social traditions.  The "feminist" movie was previously banned in Lebanon is planning to ban the film for promoting homosexuality and by Vietnam for showing a map that Supposedly depicted China’s illegal territorial claims.  


Hawaii wildfires: Death toll rises to 36 as 'apocalypse' hits Maui. 

 

The death toll from the Hawaii wildfires has climbed to 36, with Maui experiencing what locals describe as an 'apocalyptic' scenario. Fueled by strong winds and dry conditions, the fires have burnt down large areas of the island, destroying homes, vegetation, and wildlife. Evacuation efforts have started, as authorities struggle to contain the wildfire. Emergency services are stretched thin, as firefighters battle the flames while also attending to injured residents. Air quality concerns have arisen due to the heavy smoke covering the area, causing health advisories.  


 The scale of destruction is so massive that people are jumping into the ocean to escape the fire. Despite 16 roads being closed more than 11,000 travellers have been evacuated.
