According to NCF, the board exams will be held twice a year; students can maintain a good score. This step is taken for students to perform well and study hard throughout the year. Students can appear for board examinations whenever they are ready and have completed the courses. The Board Examination will judge achievement and persistence rather than tuition and memorisation. Classes 11 & 12 students will study two languages from now on. They have to choose one Indian language. Students are free to opt for any subjects other than their course. It's flexible for them to decide. The ongoing practice of 'covering books' in schools will be avoided from now, while the cost of the book covers must be optimized. This step is taken to match with the New Education Policy.
