PM Modi Embarks on Ambitious 5-Nation Global Tour |

Prime
Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on an eight-day, five-nation diplomatic
tour, marking his longest overseas trip in nearly a decade. The journey
includes visits to Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and
Namibia, aimed at strengthening India’s global partnerships. In Ghana and
Trinidad, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address national parliaments and interact with
the Indian diaspora. His Brazil stop (July 5th–8th) focuses on the BRICS
Summit, where key discussions on global terrorism and the Global South agenda
are expected. The tour concludes in Namibia with bilateral talks and a joint
parliamentary session.

Inauguration of ASEAN India cruise dialogue in Chennai |
India
hosted the inagural ASEAN India cruise dialogue in Chennai from 30th June to
1st July. Inagurated by the Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbanada Sonowal at Chennai port, this
key event laid emphasis on interlinking Indian ports and ASEAN destinations, strengthening regulatory alignments and discovering cruise routes connecting
cultural and commercial routes. This event is a significant move towards India's blue economy enhancement, toursim boosting and deepend sustainable
connectivity.
Breaking Barriers, Building Peace: IIT Guwahati’s Sukanya Sonowal Empowers Youth on Global Stage

Sukanya
Sonowal, a final-year B.Tech student at IIT Guwahati has been appointed as the
Lead for Communications and Public Relations in the Commonwealth Youth Peace
Ambassadors Network (CYPAN) for 2025–2027. Representing 56 nations, CYPAN
promotes peace and counters extremism. Hailing from Assam, Sukanya was selected
for her leadership, communication skills, and dedication to youth empowerment.
She co-founded STEMvibe, led major student initiatives, and collaborated with
global firms. Her achievement not only brings pride to IIT Guwahati but also
inspires a new generation of Indian youth to lead on global platforms.
