The festive mood which starts with the Durga Puja continues with the Diwali and so on. As Diwali is coming within a few days Journa Screen is here to make your Deepavali a little more special with a bunch of new releases which you can go and watch out with your friends and family, whereas there are also new contents which you can just sit and watch from your home along with the celebrations.

1) Sooryavanshi

The multi-starrer movie which had been delayed due to COVID-19 is finally hitting the big screens on 5th November. It is the fourth instalment from Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. After a long period, we would be getting the Akshay – Katrina duo in this movie, whereas we would also be getting Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in the roles of Singham and Simmba, respectively. Rohit Shetty’s movies have been out and out ‘masala’ commercial entertainers and from the trailer, it could be easily figured out that Sooryavanshi is a “Bollywood” movie that is perfect for the festive mood. Arijit’s song: “Mere Yaraa” has already become a chartbuster on online audio platforms.

Advance bookings of the movie are going great and we are really excited for the release of Sooryavanshi and we hope as previously Rohit Shetty’s works roared in the box office, this will also be a blockbuster in this upcoming Diwali.

2) Eternals

The 26th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is directed by Chloe Zhao premiered in Los Angeles on October 18, 2021. It will be released theatrically in the United States on November 5, as part of Phase Four of MCU. Here the Eternals, an immortal alien race emerge from hiding after thousands of years to protect Earth from the Deviants, the dark evil counterpart.

It has a big star cast where we would be getting Gemma Chan as Sersi, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, and many others.

Ramin Djawadi is composing the score for this film. He has previously scored in movies like Iron Man. The full soundtrack album will be released on 3rd November 2021.

Marvel fans are really eagerly waiting for the release of Eternals, let’s see how it works.

3) Dybbuk

Previously for many times, we have seen Emraan Hashmi in romantic horror movies like Raaz 2, Raaz 3 and if you have liked those then you can go for this. The movie was directed by Jay. K is streaming on Amazon Prime Video can be a great watch for this post-Halloween period. It’s a remake of the Malayalam film “Ezra” and stars Emraan and Nikita Dutta in the main roles. It draws on Jewish folklore and is basically centred on an antique Jewish box and an old curse in the lives of a newly married couple. Bollywood has previously given quite familiar stories like this but if you are finding a horror piece for the post-Halloween period definitely you can stream this.

4) Hum Do Hamare Do

Maddock Films has gifted us great entertainers like Stree, Mimi, and Roohi and this time they are back with this, the movie stars Rajkumar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Ratna Pathak Shah in the main roles. Streaming in Disney Hotstar the film is already receiving quite average reviews. If you are a fan of Rajkumar Rao, then you can just give it a watch. Also, Paresh Rawal in romantic comedies is seriously a pleasure to watch.

The story revolves around Dhruv and Anya. Dhruv (Rajkumar Rao) is an orphan but Anya (Kriti Sanon) wants to marry someone with a family. He searches for persons who would be acting as his parents and his search ends when he gets Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak who already has a history of their own. The film also stars Aparshakti Khurana who has lastly delivered great performances in films like ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Stree’, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ but he is becoming very stereotypical in Bollywood comedies.

The family-centred romantic comedy can be watched in Hotstar with your friends and family in the upcoming Diwali holiday.

5) Byomkesh (Web Series)

Hoichoi has previously made six successful seasons on the Bengali sleuth of Sardindu Bandapadhyay, directed by Soumik Halder, Byomkesh Season 7 is all set to premiere in Hoichoi on 4th November 2021. We are really excited to watch Anirban Bhattacharya as Byomkesh Bakshi for the 7th time.

This time the makers have chosen the story: “Chorabali” for the series. It’s more of a psychological thriller this time; having great expectations from the series as the last six seasons has been loved by the Bengali audience, hope this would be a great entertainer too.

Hope our Journa Screen readers will like our suggestions and will have a great Diwali with their near and dear ones.

Wishing all our readers a very happy and safe Diwali from the Journa Screen team.
